Candytopia, the confectionary pop-up wonderland in Buckhead, plans to extend its time in Atlanta by another six weeks. The last day to enjoy this candy-filled art exhibition is now Sunday, July 28 — plenty of time to capture ATL’s summer break crowds.

Tickets for the summer round of sugar overload go on sale Thursday, May 2.

The interactive candy experience offers visitors to the Lenox Marketplace pop-up dips in a foam marshmallow pit, art depicting local landmarks and celebrities bedecked in various candies and sweets, and samples while strolling through exhibits like a hammerhead shark created from 11,800 pieces of candy or a dragon made from 360-pounds of gummies.

The edible art installation, co-founded by Jackie Sorkin (owner of a candy-themed LA events company and star of TLC’s Candy Queen!,) retail businessman John Goodman, and events and production designer Zac Hartog, has seen the likes of A-list celebs such as Drew Barrymore and Gwyneth Paltrow at its California iteration and Usher, T.I., Lil Yachty, Ludacris, and Kandi Burruss here in Atlanta.
