Popular Indian food stall Botiwalla opens in Alpharetta today, Tuesday, May 28. The new outpost from chef and restaurateur Meherwan Irani sits at 24 South Main Street. Botiwalla joins Restaurant Holmes, Jinya Ramen Bar, Highland Bakery, and Vitality Superfood Cafe at the City Center retail and dining complex. The development is spread over six blocks and 26 acres throughout downtown Alpharetta.

Like the original stall at Ponce City Market, Botiwalla Alpharetta will serve grilled meats, kebabs, naan, paneer, and chaat (small plates). Boozy slushies, cocktails, and Indian and local beers are also planned for the menu.

The new Botiwalla opens Sunday through Thursday, from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., and Friday through Saturday, from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Take a small tour through the Alpharetta eatery here with photographer Mia Yakel. It’s bright and sunny with pops of red and aqua. There’s a communal table and outdoor seating, in addition to the traditional two- and four-top tables.
