Scofflaw Brewing Co.’s Atlanta expansion continues. This time, into State Farm Arena with the opening of its 101-foot-long beer bar featuring 48 tap handles called the Scofflaw Beer Barn, the AJC reports.
The Beer Barn, located on the north concourse in the 200 level above section 215, currently offers its Dirty Beaches tropical wheat, Basement and POG IPAs, Hooligan IPA, and JayWalker IPA on tap. However, the brewery expects to add more beers to the barn soon.
The “barn” in the name refers to Scofflaw’s logo featuring a goat. There’s even a sculpture on hand at the Barn for the obligatory selfie and Instagram snap.
“The goat represents us well. We like to push the limits and break boundaries. We are active with our customers and community on a daily basis,” CEO Matt Shirah says in the report. “We added the goat sculpture so customers can get a better feel for Scofflaw, take some pictures and share their brand experience in their own unique way.”
In addition to its expansion to the Hawks basketball arena, a second brewery location opens at the forthcoming Chattahoochee Food Works in the northwest Atlanta neighborhood of Underwood Hills next year. It includes a tasting room, outdoor space for games, and an R&D brewery for high-gravity and special release beers.
Scofflaw’s main brewery, founded in 2016, is located a little over a mile away on MacArthur Boulevard, near Crest Lawn Memorial Park.
