A second location of Roswell sushi and sake bar Monkey 68, owned by Mali Hu, opens in the neighboring north metro Atlanta city of Alpharetta later this summer.
In addition to sushi and sushi rolls, the restaurant serves Asian small plates and entrees such as flash fried squid legs with sweet chili dip and jjang jjorim or braised brisket with buttered rice on the menu, created by chef David Yun.
Yun also leads the kitchens at Monkey 68-Roswell, One Sushi in Brookhaven, and Katana Teppanyaki and Sushi in Buckhead.
The Alpharetta Monkey 68 includes a full bar with cocktails, beer, wine, and a variety of sake.
