The owners behind Alpharetta ramen shop Ramen Bar by Hajime plan to open Kin No Tori Ramen Bar this fall at Midtown Place on Ponce de Leon Avenue, What Now Atlanta reports. The Whole Foods-anchored shopping complex resides across the street from Ponce City Market.
Co-owner Sean Kim hopes to have the ramen bar open by mid-September; just in time for soup season in Atlanta.
Among Kin No Tori’s ramen selections, the menu highlights a chicken broth-based ramen supposedly “made from scratch” and without the use of artificial flavors or additives. In addition to ramen, the restaurant also offers a variety of Japanese street foods and yakitori (skewered, grilled meats).
Correction, June 14, 10:15 a.m.: This story has been updated to list the owners of Kin No Tori as Ramen Bar by Hajime not Hajime and Umaido, as previously reported.
