Biggerstaff Brewing Company opens next door to the award-winning restaurant Staplehouse on Edgewood Avenue in early 2020. Owners Clay Davies and Sarah Davies also nabbed Staplehouse chef and Edgewood neighbor Ryan Smith to help create the food menu for their Old Fourth Ward brewpub.
According to the press release, the Davies have been brewing for over ten years, and partnered with John Roberts (Max Lager’s Wood-Fired Grill & Brewery and upcoming the Bold Monk Brewing in Blandtown) to act as a consultant for Biggerstaff.

Smith’s menu plans to feature charcuterie and shareable snacks, sandwiches, and salads, all meant to pair with Biggerstaff’s beers, which include IPAs, sours, coffee brews, and a smoked pale ale.
Mornings see the brewpub transform into a cafe of sorts, serving Intelligentsia coffee and espresso drinks as well as pastries. Cole Davis, who’s worked previously at Octane and Spiller Park, plans to run Biggerstaff’s coffee cafe.
Eater Atlanta reached out for more details on Biggerstaff than were provided in the initial press release. This includes determining which building or buildings the brewery resides and renderings.
