All-day brunch restaurant The Real Milk and Honey, from Monique Rose Simms and Chopped Redemption winner chef Sammy Davis, is open with limited hours in the former Ronaldos’s Resto, next door to Virgil’s Gullah Kitchen. The grand opening officially takes place Monday, July 15.
The restaurant’s menu includes Davis’s popular shrimp and grits and other dishes like a French toast sandwich stuffed with Crown Royal-infused peach cobbler, a “Hotlanta” chicken biscuit, lobster and gravy-smothered biscuits, and jumbo lump crab hash as well as a waffle bar.
Beyond offering all-day brunch, the Real Milk and Honey features music as one of its key highlights.
The Real Milk and Honey joins another newcomer next door, Virgil’s Gullah Kitchen & Bar. Virgil’s, owned by Juan and Gee Smalls, opened earlier this month on College Park’s revitalizing Main Street. Seafood restaurant and bar Soul Crab, owned by chef Darius Williams, opened on the same strip in December.
3719 Main Street, College Park.
