Pop Into Phipps Plaza’s New Dessert Cafe for Candy Before That Movie [Update]

Sweet Tooth Cafe opens for desserts, ice cream, and fancy movie candy at the Buckhead luxury shopping mall

Queen of Cream

Sweet Tooth Cafe, a dessert shop collaboration between Old Fourth Ward’s Queen of Cream and Revelator Coffee Company, is now open at Phipps Plaza in Buckhead.

Sweet Tooth offers coffee, plated desserts, ice cream, cakes and tarts, and a large sweets section selling marshmallows, toffee, a variety of brittles and Atlanta-based Xocolatl chocolates, and gummy candies. The cafe, located next to Build-A-Bear Workshop on the second level, hopes to capitalize on the movie crowds headed to and from AMC Phipps Plaza theatre on the third floor of the luxury retail shopping mall.

The partnership between Queen of Cream and Revelator also includes a second Buckhead cafe called Coffee & Ice Cream, across from Williams-Sonoma at Lenox Square Mall. It opened in April serving coffee drinks, 12 ice cream flavors, sundaes, ice cream sandwiches, and milkshakes.

A second Queen of Cream shop opens later this year at Plaza on Ponce, behind the Majestic Diner on Ponce de Leon Avenue. Queen of Cream, owned by chef Cora Cotrim, joins LA import Jinya Ramen, and former Gunshow executive chef Joey Ward’s restaurants — Georgia Boy and Southern Belle — in the complex.

Open daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
