Chef Linton Hopkins and Gina Hopkins plan to open a new restaurant at the $400 million revamped Colony Square complex in midtown next spring, Atlanta Business Chronicle reports.
The nearly 4,000-square-foot restaurant is located in building 400, also home to neighboring Sukoshi, a Charlotte-based sushi and poke restaurant from Indigo Road restaurant group (O-Ku, Donetto, Tiny Lou’s).

However, the pair are staying mum on whether this latest Hopkins dining endeavor is a full-service restaurant such as C. Ellet’s Steakhouse at Battery Atlanta or counter service like Hop’s Chicken and H&F Burger inside Ponce City Market.
“We have no further info to share at this time, but will have more to announce in the coming weeks,” a representative for the Hopkins tells Eater Atlanta.
The couple’s restaurants (Restaurant Eugene, Holeman and Finch Public House, C. Ellet’s Steakhouse, H&F Burger, Hop’s Chicken) run the gamut from fine dining and white tablecloths to casual pubs and high volume counter service.
In addition to Sukoshi, this new Hopkins restaurant joins a third location of Rumi’s Kitchen, fast-casual burritos, wraps, and soup and salad shop Freshii owned by Dustin Saboorian of East Atlanta’s Graveyard Tavern, Starbucks, iPic dine-in theatre, Establishment bar and restaurant, and a 28,000-square-foot food hall called Main & Main at Colony Square.
Most of the restaurants, shops, offices, residences, and hotel at the complex should open by next May.
