A Flying Biscuit is opening in Castleberry Hill near Mercedes Benz Stadium
It looks like the Castleberry Hill neighborhood will soon include a location of Atlanta-based breakfast and lunch chain the Flying Biscuit, Curbed Atlanta reports. The restaurant opens by the end of the year at the Castleberry Point Lofts complex on Centennial Park Drive, near the “now-demolished” Nelson Street Bridge. [CurbedATL]
NaNa Thai restaurant opens in Woodstock
A location of East Cobb’s NaNa Thai is now open for lunch and dinner on Towne Lake Parkway in Woodstock. The restaurant offers a wide range of Thai dishes on its menu such as shrimp and chicken dumplings, papaya salad, coconut soup, pad Thai, and pad kee mow, along with dinner specials like duck curry and braised beef masaman. Big Easy Sno-Balls is now open on Monroe Drive near Boulevard
A second location of Woodstock-based shaved ice shop Big Easy Sno-Balls is now open in Midtown on Monroe Drive near Boulevard, according to What Now Atlanta. The shop resides in the same retail strip as virtual reality bar Revery: VR Bar. Big Easy serves over 75 flavors of shaved ice; a popular summer treat found throughout New Orleans. Sports bar the Beverly opens for “American-Caribbean” food on Glenwood Avenue
Sports bar the Beverly opens August 23 in the former Brass Tap space at the Kroger-anchored Glenwood Place complex in Glenwood Park, the AJC report. The Beverly, owned by Mario Johnson, serves “American-Caribbean fusion cuisine and classic dishes” on its menu. Think jerk chicken egg rolls, pimento cheese fritters, and three herb airline chicken paired with beer and sports on the televisions. [AJC]
