C&S Seafood and Oyster Bar, owned by chef Jon Schwenk and Rich Clark of C&S Restaurant Group, opens in the next few months at the Modera complex on Roswell Road in Sandy Springs.
The restaurant specializes in raw bar favorites like oysters, shrimp cocktail, and seafood platters as well as a selection of whole fish entrees, lobster, crab, and steaks.
It seems Schwenk intends to tweak the menu a bit from the Vinings location of C&S Seafood and Oyster Bar and tap into some food “discoveries” he made recently while traveling. The bar will also include a large bourbon and whiskey list along with cocktails, beer, and wine, and cater more to the late night crowd.
Schwenk and Clark own C&S Chowder House and Hugo’s Oyster Bar in Roswell and C&S Seafood and Oyster Bar in the Vinings neighborhood on Cobb Parkway.
The new Sandy Springs restaurants joins sushi restaurant District M and Casi Cielo Mexican restaurant at the complex. LA ramen shop Okiboru opens later this fall at Modera. Okiboru is known for its tsukemen or “dipping ramen”, where noodles are served in a separate bowl and then dunked into hot ramen broth before eating.
