After opening for dinner at the end of August in Cabbagetown, JenChan’s Restaurant and Market now serves brunch on Saturdays and Sundays, starting at 11 a.m.

Expect breakfast egg rolls consisting of ham, egg, and cheese, Texas-style bratwurst and cheese kolaches, steak and eggs, and soy sauce salmon rice cakes topped with arugula for brunch at the “mostly Southern, mainly Asian” restaurant, owned by Jen Chan and Emily Chan. JenChan’s also serves aebleskivers — a Danish pancake-like doughnut hole — created in Emily Chan’s great grandmother’s cast iron pan and sprinkled with powdered sugar.

The Chans, who took over the former Mouth of the South space on Carroll Street, also own an online meal delivery service called JenChan’s Supper Delivery Club, which operates out of the same kitchen.
