The Clermont Lounge legend Blondie now has her own beer called “Crushable”

LaGrange, Georgia brewery Beacon Brewing Co. created a beer called “Crushable” inspired by the iconic Clermont Lounge entertainer Blondie. The beer’s name refers to the living legend’s proclivity for crushing beer cans between her breasts while reciting poetry. To celebrate the release of the collaborative blonde lager in Blondie’s honor, Beacon Brewing and the Ponce de Leon vice den plan to throw a party on Friday, September 27, beginning at 8 p.m. Blondie, who recently celebrated 40 years with the lounge beneath Hotel Clermont, will make an appearance alongside another legendary Clermont performer, Cassy (known for lighting her nipples on fire.) $10 cash cover charge. Rules to remember: no touching the entertainers and absolutely no photos allowed. [Official]

She’s blonde, she’s crisp, and she’ll have you doing high kicks and splits! CRUSHABLE will be released 9/27, 8pm at The World Famous Clermont Lounge!! Come celebrate women making history & amazing beer!! ✨#crushable #beaconbrewingco #craftbeer #whoruntheworld . . . : Sara Monty
