Perc Coffee Roasters and its cafe open next spring at Hosea + 2nd in East Lake. The Savannah-based coffee shop resides in the second phase of the development located at the corner of Hosea L. Williams Drive and 2nd Avenue.
Musician and Atlanta native Philip Brown founded Perc in 2010 after moving to Savannah. Despite selling the roastery’s beans wholesale in Atlanta for years, the East Lake shop will be Perc’s first permanent location here.
In addition to coffee, the shop also includes dine-in and grab-and-go food, beer, and wine. “We will be making more announcements about the food options in the months to come,” Browns says in the press release.

Perc joins a growing list of restaurants at Hosea + 2nd, including Poor Hendrix, Greater Good BBQ, Mix’D Up Burgers, and the recently opened Salaryman from restaurateur Michael Lo and chef George Yu of Korean Wives Hospitality Group.
Salaryman takes over the former Mary Hoopa’s House of Fried Chicken space at the complex and serves Izakaya-style fried and grilled meats and vegetables, sashimi, and ramen as well as entrees such as a braised short rib and an “Asian-influenced” burger.
