Southern-American restaurant and cocktail bar 1 Kept closed earlier this month after over six years in Buckhead, according to a lease listing from the Shumacher Group.

The last Yelp review for the restaurant, well hidden down a steep driveway behind a small retail strip along Peachtree Street, is dated September 1 and the customer-driven review site lists 1 Kept as closed. Neighboring restaurants include Holeman and Finch Public House and Imperial Fez.

Thaddeus Keefe opened 1 Kept in what was Toulouse; a French restaurant that occupied the space for 16 years. A second location of 1 Kept opened in Charleston two years ago on Wentworth Street in the city’s downtown historic district. It, too, is now closed, and the website for the restaurant is no longer operational.

Sources indicate Keefe may have relocated out of state for a position within a hotel group.

Eater Atlanta reached out for further details.
