The Wahlberg Brothers Debut Their Boston Burger Joint Downtown on Peachtree Street

The brothers Wahlberg open their next Wahlburgers restaurant on Tuesday, February 4, in downtown Atlanta. The Boston-based burger franchise is owned by chef Paul and actors Mark and Donnie Wahlberg, respectively of Funky Bunch and New Kids on the Block fame.

Wahlburgers-Downtown is located in the heart of the Peachtree Center district on Peachtree Street, just south of AmericasMart and around the corner from Gone With the Wind-themed restaurant Pitty Pat’s Porch.

The restaurant seats up to 148 people and features a menu of burgers, like the Thanksgiving turkey burger and the double decker with two three-ounce patties, sandwiches, and salads. Drinks include plenty of beer, a small list of wine, sangria, and cocktails as well as boozy shakes and frappes.

This is the second Wahlburgers to open in the Atlanta area. The first location opened in 2017 at the Battery complex in Cobb County near Braves Truist Park. The brothers hope to open at least four more Wahlburgers in metro Atlanta and Savannah.

Public transportation: Located two blocks north of the Peachtree Center MARTA station and along MARTA bus route #40, which travels on Peachtree Street.

Open Sunday - Thursday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.; Friday and Saturday, 11 a.m. to 12 a.m.
