A second location of Old Fourth Ward dog park and bar Fetch Park & Ice House opens at luxe outdoor mall Buckhead Village District (formerly the Shops Buckhead Atlanta) early next year, according to a press release. Its debut should coincide with the opening of the previously announced Alpharetta Fetch Park on Encore Parkway.
Fetch-Buckhead will be laid out in much the same way as its Old Fourth Ward counterpart and include a large greenspace featuring mud-free turf, cooling stations throughout the dog park, shaded seating areas, outdoor televisions, and a full bar inside an Airstream camper serving beer, wine, cocktails, and coffee.
Dog owners can either obtain monthly memberships or day passes for the park. Memberships start at $30 per month or $10 for a day pass. All dogs entering Fetch must be up-to-date on their vaccinations, which are kept on file, and be spayed or neutered.
During the pandemic, capacity at Fetch is limited and patrons must have their temperatures taken before entering. For the safety of Fetch staff, owners are required to clean up after their dogs, restrooms are closed and a portable toilet is available, and bar purchases are done using a contactless chip reader. Masks are highly encouraged.
Fetch first opened on the corner of Daniel Street and Dekalb Avenue in the Old Fourth Ward two years ago. It’s co-owned by Stephen Ochs and former Atlanta Falcons offensive guard Garrett Reynolds. A Nashville location of Fetch opened last year in the Germantown neighborhood.
The owners behind Storico Fresco Alimentari e Ristorante and Forza Storico open their new Italian wine bar later this fall in the former Corso Coffee space at Buckhead Village. Storico Vino will feature a covered patio and a large bar surrounded by high-top seating and dining tables. In addition to wines by the glass and bottle, expect food like charcuterie and cheese boards, shareable pasta dishes, appetizers, and paninis on the menu.
