Farmed Kitchen and Bar opened in Tucker on Lakeside Parkway in the former Le Cordon Bleu space, according to the AJC. The restaurant, owned Daryl Shular and Sean Rush, is part of the Shular Institute culinary school, opening next spring. For now, Farmed serves a small selection of lunch items, including salads, a smoked bacon burger, roasted eggplant and fennel pizza, and a chicken pesto sandwich. Breakfast begins in January, offering dishes like a sweet potato chicken biscuit and chicken sausage and buttermilk chive biscuit. Dinner should kick off later next year.

Ford’s Barbecue opened on Main Street in Tucker earlier this month. The Texas-style barbecue restaurant resides across the street from sister restaurant Local No. 7, owned by James Maggard and Justin Bradford. Maggard and Bradford also own the Stratford Pub in Avondale Estates. Ford’s offers limited dine-in and patio seating, along with takeout. Take a look at the menu here.
