Kin No Tori Ramen Bar, from the owners of Alpharetta’s Ramen Bar by Hajime, is now open at Midtown Place on Ponce de Leon Avenue. The Whole Foods-anchored shopping complex resides across the street from Ponce City Market on the edge of Midtown.
The menu features a selection of chicken broth-based ramen, ranging from mild to spicy, served with a choice of fried or grilled chicken, along with a seafood ramen and vegetarian ramen with bamboo shoots, fried onions, sweet corn, and scallions. There’s an option to add additional proteins to ramen bowls like chashu pork, fish cakes, or fried tofu as well as extra noodles.
In addition to ramen, Kin No Tori also offers a variety of Japanese street foods and yakitori (skewered, grilled meats) on its menu, including chicken or vegetable gyoza (dumplings), steamed buns, and takoyaki (ball-shaped grilled octopus).
Meanwhile, LA import Jinya Ramen Bar plans to open a fourth Atlanta location just up the road at Plaza on Ponce in the Poncey-Highland neighborhood later this spring. Chef Guy Wong’s (Ruby Chow’s) Ton Ton Ramen is located on the first floor of Ponce City Market’s central food hall.
Open Monday - Thursday, and Sunday, 11:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.; Friday and Saturday, 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.
