East Atlanta Village restaurant Banshee just opened its new covered patio and bar. And, it’s a stunner. The patio, which doubles as a private events space Tuesday through Thursday, includes garage doors that open to the outside, 15 bar seats, and seating for 18 at tables. Ticket sales for the annual Atlanta Food and Wine Festival taking place May 28 through May 31 are delayed amid concerns over COVID-19, Atlanta Business Chronicle reports. This year marks the tenth anniversary of the Southern food festival. Match Bamboo Lounge, the tiki-style bar and restaurant on Walker Street, is now Match Bar and Oven. A tipster tells Eater, the restaurant serves New York-style flatbread and focaccia pizzas, alongside wings, burgers, and truffle fries. Food can be paired with cocktails such as a margarita, Painkiller, and “Big Ass Doubles”, basically two drinks in one.
