Hudson Grille in Brookhaven is closed, a representative for the Atlanta-based sports bar chain tells Eater. The closure comes just four months after Metrotainment Cafes group owner Jeff Landau shuttered neighboring soccer-centric bar Hudson FC International Sports Pub in the city northeast of Buckhead.
Landau and the landlord “were unable to agree to terms” on the bar’s lease at Brookhaven Station on Peachtree Road, according to the spokesperson, who declined to elaborate further on the closure details. However, a new Hudson Grille opens in the former Front Page News space on Moreland Avenue in Little Five Points later this spring.
Hudson Grille falls under the Metrotainment umbrella, which also owns Joe’s on Juniper and Einstein’s in Midtown. There are Hudson Grille locations in Alpharetta, Sandy Springs, Midtown, downtown Atlanta, Tucker, and Kennesaw.
Metrotainment closed longtime LGBTQ restaurant and bar Cowtipper’s Steaks and Spirits at the end 2018 after more than 25 years on Piedmont Avenue in the Piedmont Heights neighborhood.
Eater Atlanta continues to reach out for more details. Check back for updates.
