Several previously closed restaurants at Ponce City Market, the Halcyon complex in Alpharetta, and along the Eastside Beltline reopened for takeout over the last week. The decisions come following mid-March closures to reevaluate how to approach the takeout game to maximize sustainability and ensure the safety of employees and diners amid the growing number of COVID-19 cases in metro Atlanta.
Last week, chef Ford Fry announced the reopening of three Superica locations, Little Rey in Piedmont Heights, and no. 246 in Decatur after closing all 12 Atlanta area Rocket Farm restaurants two weeks ago. The five restaurants reopen on Monday, April 13. Chefs Ron Hsu and Aaron Philips reopen Lazy Betty in Candler Park, Tuesday, April 14, for takeout and delivery of family meals and desserts.
Here are the restaurants now reopened for takeout and delivery around metro Atlanta.

Popbar at Halcyon in Alpharetta
Popsicle shop Popbar is open Thursday through Saturday, from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. According to owner Charel Palmer, the closure provided her the chance to “process” and come up with a “new plan” in order to keep everyone safe. Popbar now includes a bike trike outside the shop, curbside pickup using a bamboo pole to deliver pops to people’s cars, a pared-down menu, and delivery via Doordash and Grubhub. Call 470-294-2910 to order for pickup.
Butcher & Brew at Halcyon in Alpharetta
A limited takeout menu is available daily from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m., along with bottled beers to go. Call 770-559-037 to order for curbside pickup. Butcher & Brew hopes to have online ordering and delivery service soon.
