Korean taco and burrito restaurant Yumbii opens its second Atlanta location in August at the Toco Hill shopping complex on North Druid Hills Road, according to a press release.
The new location, which takes over a former Radio Shack, is larger than the original Brookwood Hills restaurant on Peachtree Street, includes a covered patio, and an expanded food and drink menu. Expect the latter to feature beer, wine, tequila, and margaritas.
Once open, the Toco Hills neighborhood restaurant plans to serve lunch and dinner and offer dine-in service, along with takeout and delivery. As with the Brookwood Hills restaurant, orders can also be placed online for pickup.
Carson Young founded Yumbii in 2010 as a food truck, before opening his first permanent location six years later in the Buckhead neighborhood of Brookwood Hills. People can still catch Yumbii’s colorful food trucks at parks and events around town. Carson also operates the Queso Truck, which posts its schedule online and is often parked around Colony Square and 12th Street in Midtown. As the name implies, the truck’s menu centers around cheese dip, but does offer tacos, nachos, and quesadillas.
Toco Hills neighborhood restaurant open daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
