A third location of Atlanta-based Hobnob Neighborhood Tavern opens September 27 at the Halcyon development in south Forsyth County, according to a press release Wednesday. The restaurant will open for limited dine-in service, takeout with online ordering, and delivery via Grubhub and UberEats.

While staff are required to wear masks, a representative tells Eater Atlanta the restaurant plans to enforce a local mask mandate should one be in place at the time of the opening next month. There is currently no mandate requiring masks in Forsyth County. Halcyon resides in unincorporated Forsyth and would follow a county-wide mandate. If a mandate is not in place by September 27, patrons will be encouraged to wear masks while not seated at a table.

The press release also indicates Hobnob will limit capacity inside the dining room and on its two patios. Full capacity is set at 250 people, but will max out at 175 people during the ongoing health crisis.

Hobnob-Halcyon includes patios on the first and second floors overlooking the development’s green space. The second level (Hobnob High Up) is reserved for people 21 and up. Like the Brookhaven and Dunwoody restaurants, Hobnob-Halycon serves lunch and dinner and brunch on the weekends, along with weekly lunch and dinner specials. Those unfamiliar with Hobnob’s pub fare can expect dishes like pretzels and beer cheese dip, meatloaf, burgers, fried chicken, and pot roast for lunch and dinner, as well as a salmon cake Benedict, tiramisu French toast, and omelets on the brunch menu. The bar offers several beers, a large selection of bourbon and whiskey, and cocktails.

As with the other locations, Hobnob-Halcyon features televisions throughout the restaurant and on the patios tuned into a variety of sports, including NFL Sunday Ticket.

The Atlantic Station restaurant location is still set to open this fall in Midtown and appears similar in layout to Halcyon, including a rooftop bar overlooking the revamped Central Park at the complex.

Update, August 20, 11:00 a.m.: This story has been updated to reflect information on masks and capacity limits at the restaurant.
