Buckhead restaurant 10 Degrees South, with its South African-inspired menu, reopened on Roswell Road over the weekend after being closed for five months due to the pandemic. During the closure, the restaurant underwent a planned remodeling.
Part of the True Story Brands Hospitality Group (Biltong Bar, Yebo Beach Haus), 10 Degrees South now features a warmer color palette, along with retractable doors and windows that open to the front patio and allow for more airflow throughout the dining room. While open for dine-in service, capacity at the 180-seat restaurant is currently limited to 100 people between the dining room and patio. 10 Degrees South is enforcing city of Atlanta’s mask mandate, and patrons are required to wear masks while not seated at a table.
In January, True Story Brands closed its South African steakhouse Cape Dutch on Cheshire Bridge Road. The group still plans to reopen the restaurant elsewhere in Buckhead over the coming months. Yebo Beach Haus is also relocating from West Paces Ferry Road to the Andrews Square complex on East Andrews Drive. It takes over the former Bar Americano and Bar Crema spaces at the entertainment district.
Monday - Thursday, 5:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.; Friday and Saturday, 5:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Reservations are highly encouraged encouraged. Takeout service forthcoming.
