Korean taco and burrito restaurant Yumbii opens its second Atlanta location at the Toco Hill shopping complex on Friday, August 28, for dine-in service and takeout and delivery.

The new location, which takes over a former Radio Shack on North Druid Hills Road, is larger than the original Brookwood Hills restaurant on Peachtree Street, includes a covered patio, and an expanded food and drink menu. Expect the latter to feature beer, wine, tequila, and margaritas.

All orders are placed and paid for at the counter using a contactless payment system. As with the Brookwood Hills restaurant, takeout orders can also be placed online for pick-up.

Tables in the dining room and on the patio are set at least six feet apart and include plexiglass dividers. Owner Carson Young has installed a high-efficiency HVAC filtration system at the restaurant. It’s unclear if Yumbii plans to enforce Dekalb County’s mask mandate and require patrons to wear masks when not seated at a table.

Young founded Yumbii in 2010 as a food truck, before opening his first permanent location six years later in the Buckhead neighborhood of Brookwood Hills. People can still catch Yumbii’s colorful food trucks at parks and events around town. He also operates the Queso Truck, which posts its schedule online and is often parked around Colony Square and 12th Street in Midtown. As the name implies, the truck’s menu centers around cheese dip, but does offer tacos, nachos, and quesadillas from Yumbii.

Open daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
