Yeah Burger isn’t closing at Westside Provisions District
Several readers reached out with concerns that Yeah! Burger was closing at Westside Provisions District after seeing the dining room and patio cleared out last week. A representative for the restaurant tells Eater Atlanta Yeah Burger-Westside is undergoing a much-needed renovation for its 10-year anniversary and will reopen this fall. The Virginia-Highland location also remains closed, but could undergo a similar renovation later this year.
Aria in Buckhead now features an online wine cellar
Aria in Buckhead, owned by chef Gerry Klaskala, now features its extensive wine list for sale online at reduced cost. Bottles range between $20 to $120. The restaurant began selling its wine for curbside pickup in April. Aria wine director, Andres Loaiza, continues to create wine packs each week for the new virtual shop, featuring a selection of three similarly themed bottles. Think sparkling wines, summer roses, or a variety pack of red wines. Win a chance to host a private party next year at East Atlanta Village restaurant Banshee
Banshee is raffling off the chance to win a private party hosted in the restaurant’s new patio dining room next year. Raffle tickets start at $100, with the winner selecting the day and time to hold their soiree. The party includes patio rental, private bar, $1,000 worth of food, and $1,000 worth of drinks. Banshee opened the new covered patio in mid-March, right before the restaurant closed for three months due to the pandemic. It features garage doors that open to the outside, 15 bar seats, and seating for 18 at tables. Banshee reopened in July for “drive-thru” takeout service. Menus are updated weekly and include secret dishes and the opportunity to purchase pints of Banshee’s popular pepperoni butter for $10. People order online for curbside pickup. A new coffee and book shop called Daily Dose opens in Reynoldstown
Daily Dose, from the team behind Read Shop in Vinings and the Merchant at Krog Street Market, opened last week at the Madison Yards complex along Memorial Drive in Reynoldstown. The shop serves coffee made with Stumptown Coffee beans and pastries from Atlanta-based Alon’s Bakery. In addition to coffee and baked goods, Daily Dose also sells books, cookbooks, magazines, and coffee accessories and bags of Stumptown beans. [Official]
West End restaurant Boxcar launches an online butcher shop
West End restaurant Boxcar just launched an online butcher shop called Cut Shop. The virtual meat market includes selections like freshly made breakfast and Italian sausages, hand-cut pork chops, New York strip steak, and ribeyes from Stone Mountain Cattle Co. People order online for pickup at the bar inside the restaurant, Wednesday through Friday, from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Masks are required. Boxcar also offers a curbside meat and produce market on Saturdays, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. The restaurant is open for limited dine-in service and takeout. [Official]
