New locations of billion-dollar salad chain Sweetgreen and Chicago-based sustainable seafood restaurant Brown Bag Seafood Company open next spring at the emerging Ashford Lane mixed-used development in Perimeter Center. In addition to locations now open at Colony Square in Midtown and Ponce City Market, a Sweetgreen location is also planned for Lenox Square Mall in Buckhead. Brown Bag Seafood includes a location at Colony Square as well as Westside Provisions District off of Howell Mill Road.
Both quick-service establishments will join previously announced food hall, the Hall, opening in December at the Perimeter Center complex, and a location of Ford Fry’s Superica, opening next summer. Stalls at the food hall include Cuban food from Renzo; Itzayana Mexican restaurant; Wabi Sabi Asian street food; Hawaiian barbecue and poke stall Huli Bowl; American fusion stall Chef and I; and Southern comfort food stall Fork and Hen. Along with its stalls, the Hall features three bars, full table service, and a TopGolf simulator in one of two private events spaces.
More restaurants, along with retail shops, offices, and a large central green space called the Lawn, are expected to open over the coming year at Ashford Lane. [Official]

Another location of Marlow’s Tavern closes
The Prado location of Atlanta-based restaurant chain Marlow’s Tavern is now closed, according to Tomorrow’s News Today. Chef and co-owner John Metz says the company decided not to renew the lease at the Sandy Springs retail complex. Marlow’s Tavern includes multiple Atlanta-area locations, mostly found in cities throughout the northern suburbs. [TNT]
