Fast-casual Mediterranean restaurant Karv Kitchen, from Sandy Papadopoulos and chef Shan Holler (Eclipse de Luna), opens in March at the Parkview on Peachtree development in Chamblee, a source with knowledge of the situation tells Eater. Papadopoulos and his family own and operate Greek pizzeria and restaurant Athens Pizza in Decatur.
During its pop-ups last fall on the patio of Athens Pizza, Karv Kitchen served dishes like spit-fire Moroccan chicken and roasted pork wraps with hand-cut fries tossed in oregano, kosher salt, and Greek olive oil and meals kits and family dinners, including lamb chops served with fresh Greek pita bread and a choice of sauces.
People can expect a similar menu at the Chamblee restaurant, along with salads, bowls, loukoumades or loukoubombs (bite-sized honey doughnuts), coffee from Athens-based Jittery Joe’s, and wraps and other dishes incorporating rotisserie meats.
Eater reached out for more details on the menu and seating arrangements at Karv Kitchen.
Karv Kitchen joins Fúdo, a Japanese cafe and sushi bar owned by John and Grace Lee of Ichiban Steak and Sushi, Cajun-New Orleans-inspired restaurant Lagarde American Eatery, and Southern and tasting menu restaurant the Alden at Parkview.
