New Thai street food restaurant Tum Pok Pok opens on Buford Highway

Thai restaurant Tum Pok Pok opened on Buford Highway this week. The Chamblee restaurant, owned by Adidsara Weerasin of Bangkok Thyme in Sandy Springs, specializes in Isan street foods found throughout northeast Thailand bordering the Mekong River. Dishes and ingredients from this region of Thailand are similar to those found in the neighboring country of Laos. The menu for Tum Pok Pok includes dishes like papaya salad, larb, crab and pork dumplings, green curry, Isan sour sausage, and mango sticky rice, along with Thai iced milk tea and a Thai Shirley Temple. Indoor mini golf gaming bar and restaurant Puttshack opens April 21 on Howell Mill Road

London-based indoor mini golf bar and restaurant Puttshack opens its first U.S. location on Wednesday, April 21, at the Interlock on Howell Mill Road. Located across from Westside Provisions District, the 25,000-square-foot space includes four mini golf courses, a cocktail bar and restaurant, and an indoor-outdoor patio. The opening menu features spring rolls made with slow-roasted pulled pork, bacon collard greens, and pimento cheese called the Georgia Tailpipe. Puttshack plans to donate $1 to Giving Kitchen for each purchase of the dish. Locations of Puttshack open in Chicago and Miami later this year, with a location slated to open in Nashville in 2023. A location of all-day restaurant Taste of Greece opens this year in Midtown

Peachtree Corners restaurant Taste of Greece opens this year in the former Bareburger space on Peachtree Street in Midtown just north of the Fox Theatre, according to the Shumacher Group. Once open, the midtown Atlanta restaurant will feature a similar menu to its Peachtree Corners location during breakfast, lunch, and dinner and include a large patio. [Official]

Eataliano restaurant opening a second location at Battery Atlanta this spring

A location of Brookhaven Italian restaurant Eataliano Kitchen opens this spring at Battery Atlanta in Cobb County. Located next to Park Bench at the complex, the restaurant will serve a similar menu to its North Druid Hills location, including pizzas, paninis, and classic Italian “comfort foods”.
