New Orleans-based restaurant Neyow’s Creole Cuisine and Rooftop Restaurant opens its Atlanta location along Walker Street in the Castleberry Hill neighborhood on Saturday, August 28, with celebrity guests and musical performances planned throughout its grand opening weekend.
Owned by New Orleans natives Tamla Pierre-Taylor, Neyow’s serves a selection of Creole fare, including gumbo, Louisiana catfish, crawfish balls, stuffed crab, and red beans and rice, with desserts like beignets and bread pudding.
At nearly 6,000 square feet, the restaurant features an expansive rooftop patio and bar with views of Mercedes-Benz Stadium and downtown Atlanta. Neyow’s is part of the redevelopment plans for a historic building on Walker Street, backed by longtime Atlanta-based firm H.J. Russell and Co.

According to the press release, expect appearances and entertainment from the Sabor Brass Band, rapper Big Freedia, Hot Boy Ronald, Ms. Tee, Zulu Tramps, Baby Dolls, and DJ Captain Charles beginning at 1 p.m. on Saturday, August 28.
Patrons are required to wear masks while not seated at their table.
