An emerging luxury apartment complex on Lenox Road in Buckhead will eventually feature five restaurants, including a location of California-based sandwich shop Mendocino Farms and a Lebanese restaurant from the owners of Mission and Market.

Opening on the ground level of Modera Prominence, Lebanese restaurant Zakia, Mendocino Farms, a location of Yard Milkshake Bar, and Mexican restaurant CT Reforma are all slated to open over the course of the coming year. A yet-named local Thai restaurant is also opening at the complex.

Here’s what to know.

Mendocino Farms — opening fall 2022

Founded in Los Angeles in 2005, Mendocino Farms serves a menu of sandwiches, like Peruvian steak, crispy chicken, and a vegan reuben, along with a variety of salads and bowls. With over 40 locations throughout California and Texas, Buckhead will be the first location of Mendocino Farms in Georgia.

Zakia — opening February 2022

Owned by Mission and Market chef Ian Winslade and Jonathan and Ryan Akly, Zakia will center its menu around “modern Lebanese” dishes, including shared mezze and charcoal-grilled meats and seafood. This will be the third restaurant from Winslade and the Aklys. The trio just opened Italian restaurant and market Tre Vele in Sandy Springs in the former Three Sheets restaurant and lounge space at the City Walk complex.

CT Reforma — opening February 2022

Backed by the owners of CT Taqueria and CT Al Pastor in Alpharetta, CT Reforma will serve similar dishes found at its other locations in what’s described as an “upscale experience.”

The Yard Milkshake Bar — opening winter 2022

The Alabama-based milkshake and dessert shop opens its second Atlanta location in Buckhead. Yard Milkshake Bar opened in downtown Atlanta last year, one block north of Der Biergarten near Centennial Park. Known for its over-the-top milkshake combos, like Whiskey Business with brown butter bourbon ice cream and Peanut Butter Finger Waffle with honey-roasted peanut butter ice cream, Yard Milkshake Bar first opened in 2017, before gaining traction after appearing on reality TV show “Shark Tank”.
