Add three more restaurant stalls and a coffee shop to the lineup at the food hall taking shape at Lee and White in West End.
UK coffee giant Costa Coffee, California-based Sweet Red Peach bakery, Creme de la Crepe, and Cielito Lindo taqueria join previously announced locations of the Original Hot Dog Factory, Gekko Sushi, Mochinut, Honeysuckle Gelato, and Pastaholic at the food hall, which is expected to open by spring 2023.
Here’s what to know:
Costa Coffee
Costa Coffee is the UK’s largest coffee brand, similar in scope to Starbucks in the U.S. The full-service coffee shop and cafe at Lee and White food hall faces the entrance to White Street and will serve light breakfast and lunch fare. Costa Coffee already includes two Atlanta locations at Coda at Tech Square in Midtown and inside Goizueta Business School at Emory University.
Sweet Red Peach
Based in Inglewood, California, this is the first Georgia location of the bakery known for its peach cobbler, sweet potato pie, banana pudding, and cupcakes like coconut-pineapple and carrot cake.
Creme de la Crepe
This is the second location of Creme de la Crepe, which first opened at Marietta Square Market food hall. Expect breakfast served here, along with savory and sweet crepes, including Philly cheesesteak and French Riviera made with cinnamon apples, walnuts and caramel
Cielito Lindo
The owners of Creme de la Crepe will also open Mexican street food stall Cielito Lindo offering tacos, tostadas, flautas, and a variety of quesadillas stuffed with pollo asado, carne asada, barbacoa beef, and nopal (cactus). Look for churros and Mexican rice pudding on the dessert menu.
Once construction is complete, the food hall will feature a mix of 19 restaurant stalls, a central bar opening to a large patio, full-service restaurants like Lake and Oak Neighborhood Barbecue, and access to the Westside Beltline trail.
A pop-up market located in the parking lot near Wild Heaven Beer and Monday Night Brewing Garage opens in November with five shipping containers transformed into retail spaces housing local businesses selling everything from clothing to housewares.
In addition to breweries Monday Night Garage and Wild Heaven, Lee and White is also home to Finca to Filter coffee shop inside the taproom at Wild Heaven, the production facility for Honeysuckle Gelato, ASW Distillery, Hop City Craft Beer market and its pub Boxcar, Cultured South, and Best End Brewing Company.
