The Atlanta location of Adele’s on Edgewood Avenue closed last weekend after just nine months in the Old Fourth Ward, a representative for Red Pebbles Hospitality confirms.
The group opened a location of its popular Nashville restaurant beside Biggerstaff Brewing Co. and Staplehouse in March, taking over a renovated 1930s-era garage space on Edgewood Avenue.
Sources tell Eater diners were recently told that Sunday, December 11, was the last day of service for Adele’s. However, it appears a new restaurant from Red Pebbles Hospitality is headed to the Old Fourth Ward next year.
“We are very grateful for the support given to Adele’s Atlanta. As we look forward to 2023, we are excited to bring a new concept to the Old Fourth Ward. Details will follow in the new year,” the representative says.
They declined to provide further details on why Adele’s closed or which of the group’s restaurants might open in the Old Fourth Ward in 2023 and whether it would open in the same location as Adele’s on Edgewood Avenue.
As in Nashville, the menu at Adele’s in Atlanta centered on “California cuisine” and “rustic” Italian dishes, including gnocchi, salmon belly carpaccio, smoked duck, and roast chicken served with salsa verde. A brunch buffet was offered on Sundays.
Red Pebbles Hospitality is also behind The 404 Kitchen, Emmy Squared, Bajo Taco Restaurant, Sadie’s, and Gertie’s Whiskey Bar. Two locations of pizzeria and Italian restaurant Emmy Squared are now open in Glenwood Park and along the Marietta Street Artery.
