It appears Mediterranean resort-style pool, bar, and restaurant combo L.O.A (Leave of Absence) is scheduled to finally open atop the Interlock on Howell Mill Road in April.
Owned by Slater Hospitality, the group behind Ponce City Market rooftop amusement park Skyline Park and restaurant Nine Mile Station, expect a sprawling 300-seat restaurant serving what’s described as “coastal European” fare, a lush garden-like outdoor bar and lounge called the Grove, and a pool complete with views of the Atlanta skyline, sun loungers and private cabanas, and its own indoor bar.
As with Slater’s Ponce City Market venues, people must first check in on the ground floor of the Interlock to gain access to the adults-only space on the rooftop.

L.O.A. joins a number of newly opened restaurants at the Interlock, including cocktail bar and lounge Drawbar, St. Germain Bakery, coffee and cocktail bar Holiday Bar, Velvet Taco, and mini golf restaurant Puttshack.
Self-service beer bar Pour Taproom, a 20-seat sushi bar called Kinjo Room, and pizzeria Humble Pie, from the chefs behind Lazy Betty and Juniper Cafe, are all expected to open this year at the Interlock.
L.O.A. isn’t the only restaurant project in the works for Slater Hospitality. The group plans to open Pizza Clementine and underground cocktail bar Thirteenth Floor this summer as part of the redevelopment of historic Hotel Row in downtown Atlanta. Then, in 2023, the group will open a yet-named rooftop diner and pie bar at 222 Mitchell across the street from Hotel Row.
