Longtime Piedmont Heights French restaurant Atmosphere Bistro is closing March 10 after 20 years on Piedmont Avenue, according to an announcement on Facebook and a message posted to the homepage for the restaurant.
“We are sad to announce that the time has come to sell our business and that Atmosphère will be permanently closing its door on March 10th 2022 after dinner,” the announcement reads, in part. “It has been an honor and a privilege to serve you and we want to express our gratitude for making Atmosphère one of Atlanta’s most popular eating establishments and such a special place.”

Further reporting by What Now Atlanta indicates the owner of a new restaurant could be set to take over the space once Atmosphere Bistro closes after dinner service on March 10.

Atmosphere Bistro is best known for serving traditional French fare within a cozy bungalow along Piedmont Avenue, which also features a large, cafe-style patio out front. The restaurant offered monthly wine tastings as well as weekly specials, including a two-course lunch menu and three-course dinner menu.
