Howell Mill Road development the Interlock recently announced the addition of new tenants for phase two of its project at the intersection of Ethel and Northside Drive. Kura Revolving Sushi Bar joins the group, along with super chain Starbucks and burger joint Five Guys.
Kura Revolving Sushi Bar is a Japan-based chain with over 400 restaurants around the world, including one in Doraville, Georgia. This location will be in competition with the Interlock’s other raw fish tenant Kinjo Room, which is an intimate sushi bar — though, conveyor belt sushi is a bit different than a spot that serves miso-marinated black cod and fancy cocktails.
As for Starbucks, the Interlock already has a coffee option with Holiday Bar and Brash Coffee Roasters is nearby, but it seems there’s always room for that world-famous green logo on giant Frappuccinos.
Phase two of the Interlock is slated to open in 2024, and according to the press release, it still has room for a 4,500-square-foot restaurant with an outdoor patio, so watch for investors to snap that up.
