An Outdoor Pop-Up Dinner Series Is Headed to Piedmont Park in March

Starting March 2, people can dine on a three-course dinner in one of those geodesic domes in the evening overlooking the park, but it will cost you

An outdoor pop-up dinner series is headed to Piedmont Park this spring.

Running March 2 through April 2, Dinner With a View takes over green space at the Promenade near the Atlanta Botanical Garden and Magnolia Hall at the park. People will dine in one of 33 decorated, climate-controlled geodesic domes (aka igloo dining) offering views of Piedmont Park in the evening.

Run by Grae Hospitality, the events group behind Domaine nightclub in Midtown, dinner includes three courses with a choice of beef, chicken, fish, or vegan entree. But this pop-up dinner experience comes with a hefty price tag. Dome reservations are $199.99 and accommodate four to six people (sorry, no parties of just two people in the domes,) with dinner an extra $129.99 per person. It should also be noted that drinks are not part of the package, which adds an additional cost to this pop-up.

Wednesday and Thursday seatings 6 p.m. and 8:15 p.m.; Friday and Saturday seatings 5:30 p.m., 7:30 p.m., 9:30 p.m.; Sunday seatings 5 p.m. 7 p.m. 9 p.m. Click here for more information.
