Superica opens Monday, February 20, at Ashford Lane, a multi-million dollar revamp of the previously named Perimeter Place complex in Dunwoody. The opening marks the fifth location of Ford Fry’s popular Tex-Mex restaurant in the Atlanta area, which will be followed by the opening of the sixth location on Howell Mill Road in March.
With seating for over 200 people in the dining room and on the covered patio, expect the menu in Dunwoody to be similar to Superica’s other locations. This includes the restaurant’s oft-ordered queso fundido, fried catfish tacos, fajita platters, and grilled chile relleno, as well as the hot cakes served during weekend brunch.
A breakfast taco pop-up takes place at the new Dunwoody restaurant Saturday, February 11, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Superica includes locations at Krog Street Market, in Buckhead, at the Battery Atlanta, and at Avalon in Alpharetta. A sixth location opens next month in the former Public School 404 space on Howell Mill Road in Atlanta, next door to Fry’s seafood restaurant and oyster bar the Optimist.
Fry’s latest Superica joins locations of Paris Baguette, Sweetgreen, Brown Bag Seafood, and Jeni’s Ice Creams are already open at Ashford Lane. A second location of chef Pat Pascarella’s Neapolitan pizzeria and Italian restaurant Grana should open this year, along with a nine-stall food hall and bar dubbed the Hall.
