Chef Pasquale “Pat” Pascarella has a lot on his plate. The owner of Grana, known for its Neopolitan pizzas and more classic Italian dishes, is opening an anticipated Dunwoody outpost of Grana this year next door to Taco Mac in Perimeter Center. But there’s another Grana location in the works: according to a press release, Pascarella will open up shop in the Southern Post mixed-use development in Roswell, Georgia.

This third location will be the largest Grana yet, with a 6,160-square-foot interior space and a 2,600-square-foot covered patio. The Roswell location will look similar to the original Grana on Piedmont Avenue. With 275 seats, Grana at Southern Post will have an expansive bar area and a photo tribute to Italian film star Sophia Loren.

Grana at Southern Post is slated to open by the end of 2023. The restaurant is known for its Southern Italian flair, with truffle-topped pizzas, pastas like rigatoni and gnocchi, and a plethora of meatballs from pork with whipped ricotta to crispy veal with spicy mayo (order the meatball tasting to try them all).
