Ford Fry’s chicken al carbon-slinging restaurant Little Rey is one of seven new restaurants slated to open at the 43-acre Medley development headed to Johns Creek. While an opening ETA has yet to be announced, plans are to break ground on the development later this year.
Part of what will eventually become a sort of town center for the north metro Atlanta city, the Medley will eventually include a mix of nearly 1,000 residences, a series of offices, retail shops and restaurants, and public parks and trails. A central plaza at the development will see more than 200 events each year, from festivals and watch parties to outdoor fitness classes and live music.
Here’s what to know about the new restaurants opening at the Medley:
First opened in 2019 in Atlanta’s Piedmont Heights neighborhood, this restaurant from Ford Fry serves breakfast tacos and plates and tacos of wood- and charcoal-roasted yardbirds. A location opens in Houston next year.
Johns Creek will become the third location for the wine bar, which includes over 300 wines by the bottle and glass paired with charcuterie and cheese boards, oysters, crudo, bruschetta platters, and pasta dishes.
This Alpharetta sushi bar expands to neighboring Johns Creek from one of the owners behind MF Sushi.
Pronounced f’doe, this Irish pub includes locations in Buckhead and Midtown and features dozens of international beers, local beers, and plenty of Guinness, Harp, and cider paired with a mostly traditional Irish pub food menu.
With multiple locations around Atlanta, this sandwich shop centers on classic hoagies.
This shop offers freshly baked cookies of all varieties, along with frozen cookie dough ready for baking at home.
With shops all over the world, this gelato cafe offers traditional and non-traditional gelato flavors combined with Belgian chocolate.
This North Carolina-based coffee cafe will also serve beer and wine later in the day.
