The second location of D.B.A. Barbecue is now open on Roswell Road in Buckhead.

Taking over the former Greater Good BBQ space near Chastain Park, the menu for D.B.A. BBQ in Buckhead offers a scaled down version of the original location in Virginia-Highland and is more fast casual than full service.

D.B.A. BBQ

Open for lunch and dinner, Tuesday through Sunday, expect barbecue pork, chicken, turkey, and brisket plates and sandwiches, along with smoked wings, a selection of hot dogs, and sides like Brunswick stew. Beer, wine, and cocktails are also available and seating is offered inside and out on the front patio.

Later this year, D.B.A. owner Matt Coggins plans to open a third location in Clarkston called D.B.A. Tacos and BBQ. It includes a drive-thru window. Taking over a former Taco Bell and KFC on East Ponce de Leon Avenue, this location will be mostly takeout service and serve both smoked meat tacos, as well as D.B.A. barbecue plates and sandwiches. Look for tacos featuring brisket, smoked chicken, and goat birria and four different salsas in Clarkston.

“I’ve always wanted drive-thru,” Coggins told Eater in March. Coggins is working to update the drive-thru experience at the Clarkston restaurant in order to offer customers as speedy service as possible. This includes adding a board informing drivers which barbecue meats have sold out for the day.
