Drew and Brittany Fancher, the owners behind mobile bar business the Aero Bar Atlanta, open Forum Cocktail Co. bar Monday, June 12, at the Works off of Chattahoochee Avenue in Underwood Hills.
Previously called Foundation, Forum Cocktail Co. serves cocktails, charcuterie boards, and snacks in the main bar area and also features a reservation-only cocktail lounge with a hidden entrance located at the end of a narrow hallway.
Expect a drinks menu comprising classic and original cocktails, including takes on the Hemingway daiquiri, the Sazerac, and the Tuxedo and cocktails like the Sweet Symphony with gin, Italicus Rosolio di Bergamotto liqueur, watermelon oleo-saccharum, cucumber, salt, and lime yuzu FeverTree tonic water.
As for food at Forum Cocktail Co., look for charcuterie boards, fries seasoned with furikake and togarashi served with crema de aji, and meatballs in red sauce with burrata and a baguette.
It’s unclear if the same cocktails and food are served at both bars.
With distressed furniture and tufted couches, a fireplace lit by candles, antique mirrors and chandeliers, and jewel tones throughout the space, the design for Forum Cocktail Co is described in the press release as “inspired by classical Greek architecture”, taking cues from public spaces like Roman forums. The hidden cocktail lounge down the hallway at Forum Cocktail Co. is by reservation only, Thursday through Saturday, and apparently features its own distinct design.
Forum Cocktail Co. joins forthcoming restaurant and live entertainment venue Damsel at the Works, as well as Taste Wine Bar, Chattahoochee Food Works, Brash Coffee cafe, Fox Bros. Bar-B-Q, Fetch dog park and bar, gaming venue Your 3rd Spot, and Scofflaw Brewing Co. now open at the complex.
