Christmas Eve falls on a Monday this year, which means many Atlanta bars are typically closed. However, some bars around town are hosting special Monday hours, while others are keeping it business as usual. Here are a few bars open for drinks and a bite on Christmas Eve for those looking to fortify themselves before family arrives or simply escape for an hour or two.

Victory’s Inman Park location is also open for dinner and drinks on Christmas Eve.

Operated by local artist Grant Henry — aka Sister Louisa —Church is located at the corner of Boulevard and Edgewood Avenue and is filled with plenty of kitsch and religious memorabilia (that may or may not be blasphemous, depending on one’s point of view.) Christmas Eve falls on a Monday, so, head to Church to partake in or watch the weekly ping pong tournament upstairs starting at 9 p.m. while downing PBR tall boys.
