Seafood pancake at Yet Tuh

This Doraville restaurant stands out among the many excellent Korean dining establishments throughout metro Atlanta. Matthew Kang, host of Eater’s Korean-centric web series K-Town, says the seafood pancake here is one of the “deepest, most well-constructed” versions he’s had. And, Atlantans agree. La piña rellena at Mariscos La Riviera Nayarit

This Norcross marisqueria opened in 2011 serving everything from giant platters filled with shrimp, crab legs, and lobster to whole red snapper rubbed in chile marinade. But, for something truly indulgent, order the la piña rellena — a broiled, half pineapple stuffed with grilled seafood and topped with melted cheese. It’s over-the-top and good. There’s a second location in Lawrenceville. Call for takeout.

The soup specials at Sun City Caribbean & American Restaurant

Sun City offers patties in the expected formats (beef, chicken, coco), small and large portions of Jamaican classics, and a few specialties, including barbecued jerk ribs. However, it’s the weekly soup specials here which really shine at this restaurant. On Thursdays, the restaurant serves a thick red pea soup. On Fridays and Saturdays, it’s fish soup — referred to in Jamaica as “fish tea”. Order online for takeout and delivery.

Grandma Pie at O4W Pizza

The location has changed, but Anthony Spina is still serving up his famous Jersey-style Grandma Pie. Once located in Irwin Street Market, O4W Pizza moved to Duluth in July 2016 where Grandma continues to be a hit. The pizza is made with fresh mozzarella, marinara, Pecorino-Romano, extra-virgin olive oil, fresh oregano, and basil. Order online for takeout.
