If we are feeling adventurous after work, its always decent to travel way down Moreland to the Southern Comfort. This place is a bona fide trucker bar and one of the perks of drinking there is that when here, I don't feel the pressure to imbibe crafted cocktails, just a shot of whisky and a domestic beer will suffice for me. I love this little dive off of Howell Mill Rd called Mr. C's. It's smoky and seedy with a lot of fun regular characters that you share a brew with every night. In addition to the usual PBR or champagne of beers, they also carry my favorite local brew— Monday Night's Fu Manbrew— just for me!
