Serial pop-up chef Jarrett Stieber of Eat Me Speak Me is now holding court at Eater's 2013 Restaurant of the Year, The General Muir, on Wednesdays through Fridays from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. His previous pop-up venture was at the Candler Park Market.

From January 29, chef David Sweeney, previously of the Bakery at Cakes & Ale and Fresh Market Bites at Octane, will pop up at The Sound Table every Wednesday with a Mediterranean-influenced bar menu. Karl Injex will DJ and Navarro Carr will pair Sweeney's dishes with drinks.

Hop City hosts weekly beer tastings with its Westside neighbor, Octane, every Wednesday from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the coffee shop. The rules: no reservations, a different brewery every week, and four to five samples, including one on tap. Buy a beer and get a souvenir glass.

Soup Cart at The Goat Farm
