In the old days, a bar was a dark and dingy place where you could drown your sorrows or celebrate your achievements by throwing back some shots and downing beer after beer. If there was food, it was likely peanuts—and maybe a greasy burger or two. Now, with a focus on mixology and pairing drinks with food (and vice versa), the line between restaurants and bars begins to blur.
