Updating the Eater Heatmap: Where to Eat Right Now

View as Map

More often than not, tipsters, readers, friends and family of Eater have one question: Where should I eat right now? What are the new restaurants? What haven't I heard of? What's everyone talking about? While the Eater 38 is a crucial resource covering old standbys and neighborhood essentials across the city, it is not a chronicle of the 'it' places of the moment. Thus, we offer the Eater Heatmap, which will change periodically to highlight where the food-crazed crowds are flocking. Since this is a spotlight on what's happening right now, we must bid adieu to places that have been around for too long. Therefore, in this edition, we must say goodbye to Seven Lamps and Monday Night Brewing and welcome BoccaLupo and Villains.

Suggestions? Vital omissions? Leave 'em in the comments or email the tipline.

The latest from Kevin Rathbun and his first outside of Inman Park, this restaurant offers small plated steaks and Italian fare from chef de cuisine Chris McDade as well as cocktails crafted by Tres Bullard, previously of Top Flr.

The Argosy opened in late February in East Atlanta from the guys behind Book House Pub and MJQ and has gotten pretty rave reviews since. It's hard to go wrong with a great beer list, a great space, and a great location. [Photo]
