Bar Manager Kevin Bragg's cocktails stand out in Buckhead, home to many of Atlanta's food and beverage heavy hitters. Try the perfect summer-to-fall-transition slushie, the Ciao Bella, with Fernet Branca, benedictine, apple cider, and Angostura bitters.

Bartaco

It's no surprise that the same folks who gave us Barcelona in Inman Park have another hotspot on their hands in Westside's Bartaco. Enjoy the outdoor seating, the breezy bar, and the summer-y mojitos and margaritas before the fall chill sets in.[Photo]

Arianne Fielder is behind the stick again, this time as bar manager of Westside's Bellwoods Social House. Choose from classics with a twist like Ari's Old Fashioned, plus bourbon drinks and noteworthy "boot kickers," shots inspired by her favorite watering holes in Atlanta and beyond.

Paper Plane

Decatur is one of the best neighborhoods for cocktails in Atlanta, and its tempting to overlook Paper Plane amongst its bigger, shinier neighbors. Don't. Paul Calvert's current menu, "A History of Drink," inspired by cocktail trends and world events from 1857 to now is not to be missed.

Kimball House

With accolades ranging from Bon Appétit to Southern Living, Kimball House is a must-visit. Miles Macquarrie's ever-changing cocktail list is always seasonal and spot on. Where else can you get smoked bourbon and orgeat made with fresh Georgia peanuts in the same drink? It's aptly called the Good Ol' Boy.

The Luminary
